Currently, our client – a multinational company based in Europe with offices in more than 100 countries, is looking for the right candidate to fill in the vacant position as Country Tax Head for its Jakarta office. The candidate will based in Jakarta but report functionally to the company Tax Organization both in the region and headquarter.

The candidate will be responsible to supervise a team of tax specialist and tax administrations. He/she will be responsible on day to day activity (tax reconciliation, tax invoice preparation, and core tax administration function), on-time monthly tax reporting and company corporate annual return, tax planning and tax budgeting. Reporting to the Board of Directors and regional organization, the candidate will have to understand the concept of good management reports and able to present it during the management meeting.
To be qualified for the Country Tax Head position, you should:
1. Have an accounting degree (S1 Accounting), preferably a Maksi degree in Taxation, or MM/MBA degree in Finance
2. Other credentials is an advantage (but not a must-have) : CFA, CPA, FRM
3. Hold Brevet A/B is also an advantage
4. Experiences in the field of Tax, Accounting, or Controllership minimum 5 years
5. Very familiar with monthly tax reporting process and annual tax return
6. Experiences in tax audit (at least for 2 fiscal years)
7. Achievement in successful tax restitution is definitely an advantage experience
8. Hold a senior tax position for at least 3 years
9. Strong analytical skill and in-depth accounting knowledge (IAS and PSAK) and Indonesian Tax regulation (updates)
10. Dynamic, honest, hardworking, love challenges, independent
11. Proven experience in managing team and cross functions relationship and cooperation
12. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
13. Fluent in English
14. Willing to travel at least once a month domestic or overseas
